Jeremy Michael Cohen is a writer, director, and producer of films and other moving images.

His current project is a micro-budget feature film, Yinz, that Jeremy directed in his hometown in Western Pennsylvania in winter 2016. He’s currently editing the movie.

Additionally, he has produced and 1st A.D.ed millions of dollars of content, including eight feature films and tens of commercials for major clients, including DiGiorno, Honda, Scion, and Reebok.

He has an MFA in Film Production from USC’s School of Cinematic Arts. Originally from New Castle, Pennsylvania, he earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland, where he was a member of the Fraternity of Phi Gamma Delta and graduated Phi Beta Kappa.

Outside of the film industry, Jeremy co-founded Tortuga Backpacks with childhood best-friend Fred Perrotta. They make the world’s ultimate travel backpacks to help people live, work, and travel on their own terms. Tortuga has been named to Entrepreneur Magazine’s 100 Brilliant Companies. Jeremy is the executive producer of Tortuga’s media operations.

When he’s not working, Jeremy enjoys reading, traveling, CrossFit, and eating and cooking great food. He is a passionate, lifelong Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He currently resides in the lovely Los Feliz neighborhood of Los Angeles.
